As a Finance Intern you will learn from KBC’s innovative Finance Team to drive results for commercial real estate brokers.
In this role, you will serve as support for the operational Finance team at KBC, and develop a foundational knowledge of finance processes, accounting and controllership and business partnership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with experienced finance professionals and gain real-world experience in commercial real estate industry.
Gather key information from various sources and manipulate data into excel spreadsheets.
Assist in obtaining and entering commission information and real estate project details in Finance ERP.
Assist with AR/AP including collections, reminders, and reconciliation.
Learn about the company T&E expense policy and assist with audits.
Provide support for finance team on a variety of tasks including reporting, record keeping, expense management, process improvement, and record management.
Work independently and proactively to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with team members and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
Organized and detail oriented.
Ability to collaborate with a team and execute individually.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite.
Education and Experience
Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program focused on Finance/Accounting or related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Previous internship experience a plus
