GIS Analyst

KBC Advisors is looking for an analytically focused GIS Analyst to join our team! We’re looking for candidates who excel in spatial modeling, statistics, and ESRI application development to support our commercial real estate teams nationwide.

In this role, you will serve as a GIS support analyst within the Location Intelligence department for a dedicated client, sitting in Seattle. In partnership with your team, you will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and maintenance of all spatial data and application development related to our clients. Our ideal candidate is analytical, creative, and strategic, has industry experience and is eager to roll up their sleeves to get things done.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design and create collaborative ESRI Portal/AGOL applications to support new and ongoing projects.

Scrub data as necessary to maximize the effectiveness of the data visualization process.

Maintain and support the organization’s ESRI Portal/AGOL user base as an administrator.

Write, publish, and maintain custom scripts, widgets, and geoprocessing tools as necessary.

Present analytical findings and train KBC’s ESRI users on what you did, how you did it, and how to use the apps you developed.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficient in all things ESRI: Desktop, ArcPro, ArcGIS Online, Enterprise Portal, Server, etc.

Experience with ArcGIS Online’s Experience Builder suite; required.

Experience with ArcGIS Pro’s Business Analyst and Network Analyst; preferred, but not mandatory.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Familiarity with VBA scripting or Excel Macros; preferred, but not mandatory.

Familiarity with Python, Arcade, and/or HTML coding; preferred, but not mandatory.

Familiarity with FME and/or Alteryx; preferred, but not mandatory.

Experience aggregating data from multiple sources (including software like Salesforce, CoStar, and more).

Familiarity with commercial real estate concepts; preferred, but not mandatory.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work with limited supervision.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university required, degree in GIS or data analytics preferred.

3+ years prior GIS analysis preferred.

Salary Range

The expected annual base salary for this role is $77,000 - $110,000. Experience, skills and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered.
