KBC Advisors is seeking a Research Analyst associate to support our Nashville, Tennessee team! We offer a dynamic, innovative environment with a company that is reimagining industrial real estate.

As a Research Analyst at KBC, you will be responsible for leading our Nashville team’s research and analysis efforts through data development, analytics, modeling, research, data visualization, and communication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Act as thought leader and trusted market research expert for our team, clients, and partners to lead their data and analysis requirements.

Responsibility of build-out, expansion, and management of data platform, databases, and research and analysis tools for team

Maintaining, tracking, organizing and analyzing required key real estate market information, data sources, and inputs for the Nashville Industrial Market and other markets that our team covers

Own, manage, and maintain research process, data, analysis, modeling, and deliverables for team projects and presentations

Market analysis and assessment to develop forward-looking and proprietary perspectives.

Clear and timely communication of events, news, trends, and other information to assist the team on a regular basis.

Analyze and model data on various data sets to provide insights for real estate recommendations and decisions.

Develop, communicate and distribute market information, presentations and reports

Ability to organize and prioritize projects with a demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate within and between stakeholders.

Build and maintain working relationships to acquire market insights and data from internal and external sources, such as brokers, landlords, developers, lenders, appraisers, and other research professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage shifting priorities.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills, including experience with technical writing.

Exceptional organization skills and proactive execution of action items, data, workflows, work product, processes, and execution.

Experience with Microsoft Excel database and modeling (and other software products) Financial modeling and analysis is a plus.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience in a related field such as, but not limited to, Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Research, Data Engineering, Economics, or Business

Experience in financial modeling and analysis preferred. (Excel, Argus, etc.)

Real estate experience (2-5 years) preferred
