Transaction Manager

As a Transaction Manager, you will be a key part of our client’s North America Real Estate team. This individual will be responsible for leading teams comprised of real estate stakeholders to deliver for multiple business unit requirements.

The transaction manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the renewal/expiration process including obtaining business direction and requirements, ensuring required due diligence is complete, ensuring negotiations meet cost savings initiatives, obtaining capital approvals and ensuring the project is closed out accurately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage a high deal volume for renewals and expirations for all industrial outdoor storage across business units.

Execute on project lifecycle from business direction through deal execution with speed and quality.

Use project and program metrics to execute to annual plan and drive action.

Use verbal and written communications for project status, risks, and issues, and to make business recommendations.

Communicate expectations, requirements and deal status to both internal and external key stakeholders.

Continue to build a culture of speed, flexibility and frugality with all business partners through process improvement.

Collaborate with client internal operations, external brokers, legal, finance, environmental and safety teams, and realty team stakeholders to deliver results.

Update or use client tools. This includes but not limited to SHIELD, Tango, Contract Central, Approvals, Quip, SIM, and QuickSight.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous commercial transactions experience

Data Analysis in Excel

Ability to quickly learn complex systems for managing transaction progress and deadlines

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, finance, engineering, architecture, or planning.

Proficiency in Excel and in the general Microsoft Office product suite.

Salary Range

The base pay for this position ranges from $72,000/yr up to $118,000/yr. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
