Hassan's passion for real estate started from a young age with his parents, who both worked in real estate as a hotel developer and residential broker. Before joining KBC, Hassan was a Director at Brookfield’s logistics platform and was responsible for managing the entire Southeast region. Hassan assisted on acquisitions, dispositions, development, and business planning development, as well as execution. Prior to joining Brookfield, Hassan worked for Sun Trust Robinson Humphrey (STRH) on the Real Estate Investment Banking team in Atlanta. While at STRH, he advised publicly traded and non-traded REITs and homebuilders on over $33B of strategic M&A, equity/debt capital markets, and syndicated and leveraged finance transactions. Hassan was a part of the collegiate table tennis team and went to the National Championships. He is also an avid golfer, tennis player, and cricketer. However, after realizing he wasn't going to be the Bo Jackson of racket sports, he now limits himself to playing recreationally on the weekends. When he isn't swinging away at a ball, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Anam. Both love traveling the world together.
